Kao Games is a small independent studio. We design, build and publish our own browser games — 20 of them so far — and they are the reason this site exists.
We make short browser games and wanted somewhere to put them that loads instantly and asks nothing of you. No account, no download, no launcher: click a game and it starts. There are 20 playable right now, with more in the pipeline.
Our games are built in Unity and compiled to WebAssembly so they run in the browser at native speed. Each one is a self-contained build served from our own CDN. Most started as an experiment in a single mechanic — a timing game with no steering, a chase where the pursuit scales faster than you do, a factory line that manufactures playable games — and grew from there.
Hosting is cheap and the games are free. Advertising is what keeps them that way. We keep it around the games rather than interrupting them, and we will never gate a game behind a payment. Anything we collect along the way is set out plainly in the privacy policy.
Bug reports, ideas and "your game broke on my machine" messages are all welcome — the last category is genuinely the most useful. See the contact page.
