Creator fund
Play time becomes pay day.
Every month a pool of money is shared between the people who publish games on KaoGames,
split by how much each game is actually played. Every number, and every payout, is public.
Example numbers: this is how the page looks once games are in the fund.
—games in the fund
—plays this month
—returning players

Where each score comes from
Plays and returning players, each game's score built up.
The fine print
- The pool comes from the site's advertising and can be topped up by KaoGames.
- When a month closes, each share is added to the developer's balance. Payouts open later, through a payments partner that verifies identity first; until then a balance can pay for boosts.
- Coming later: money earned inside a game, such as rewarded ads or in-game purchases, goes straight to that game's developer instead of into the shared pool.
